BROWNSBURG, Ind. (December 5, 2019) – Tony Stewart’s Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 will hit the highway in less than two months, launching a 2020 campaign jam packed with high profile events, big money paydays, and of course, highly-competitive dirt ovals spread throughout much of the Northeast, Midwest, and Florida.

To date, the traveling All Stars will headline 55 events after the New Year, 51 accumulating championship points, all of which kicking-off with a four-race, non-point stint in the Sunshine State on February 5, 6, 10 & 11. Florida included, 11 states will host All Star Circuit of Champions competition in 2020 with much of the action planted throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Gee lead every lap

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. (August 24, 2019) – Earning a first-ever Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 victory is certainly special, but to attain that feat in the heart of Pennsylvania Posse Country is on an entirely different level, especially with MAVTV Motorsports Network cameras on the prowl.

Leduc, Alberta, Canada’s Skylar Gee reached that level on Saturday night in the Pigeon Hills, eventually dominating All Star Circuit of Champions feature competition at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway by leading all 30 circuits, doing so from the pole position.

Not only did Gee lead every lap, but the All Star Rookie of the Year contender did it in incredible fashion, ultimately crossing under the final checkers by a margin of victory surpassing two seconds. Impressive enough, Gee’s lead reached nearly three seconds by the midpoint of the program, but a caution on lap 17 knocked his wicked pace back to idle.

Six-time All Star champion and all-time Series win leader, Dale Blaney, chased Gee to the finish, followed by Ryan Smith, Adam Wilt and Jeff Halligan.

“Hats off to my team. They gave me one hell of a race car tonight,” said Skylar Gee in victory lane, who nearly swept the program by setting fast time, winning the dash, and finally, winning the $5,000 main event. “This was a fun race track. I can’t wait to come back here.”

With six cautions, including an unforeseen fuel stop on lap four, cutting-up the 30-lapper, the only real challenges for Gee were the multiple restarts. In fact, the third generation ace was forced to survive two complete restarts before getting underway, officially.

A tap against the turn four, outside retaining wall gave Gee a stir on lap 22, ultimately trimming his near-three second command over Blaney to a single second. Despite the fact, Blaney was unable to capitalize. Even when a lapped car blocked Gee’s preferred top lane in the final corner, nobody was present to potentially overtake. The ASCS graduate did not falter, however, and simply dived through the corner to set-up a straight shot at the flagstand.

“I’m looking at the board and I’m seeing Dale Blaney and the 72 [Ryan Smith] and I think ‘I better get going here,’” Gee continued, pilot of the Moto Gator/Raw Machinery/Carlan Services/No. 99 sprint car. “I just kept trying to change it up and plan my starts right; I think I did a pretty good job of that. It really hasn’t sunk in yet. I really don’t know what to say.”

Wins at Waynesfield Raceway Park on first visit.

Gee Scores Hampshire Classic Win

By Brian Liskai

WAYNESFIELD, Ohio – Leduc, Alberta, Canada’s Skylar Gee had never competed at Waynesfield Raceway Park. But, he made his first appearance a good one, taking the lead on lap 34 and driving away to earn the $5,630 pay day for the 2nd Annual Bob Hampshire Classic.

The event, honoring the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame sprint car owner and mechanic, was the final race of 2019 for the FAST 410 Sprint Series. Cole Duncan, with his win the week prior, earned the series’ championship.

The one-third mile high banked track lived up to its reputation as the 50-lap FAST feature saw several lead changes. Cap Henry led the first eight circuits with NASCAR Xfinity Star Christopher Bell taking over to lead laps 9-16 only to have Henry regain the top spot for a lap with Bell using heavy lapped traffic to move back into the lead on lap 18. Bell seemed to have the race in control when he spun in turn four while maneuvering through lapped traffic, falling back to 11th and handing the lead back to Henry. Gee, who had hung around the top five throughout the race, hunted down Henry and drove around him on lap 34. A caution with eight laps to go gave Henry one final shot, but Gee hit his marks perfectly and drove to the win.

“I struggled pretty hard the first half of the race. I started watching Christopher and then I seen DJ (Foos) poking his nose in there and it started to rubber up there a little and I started creeping and creeping and pretty soon we were pretty good and I could start cheating the wing forward. I got going pretty good in one and two and I had a good race with Cap….he raced me hard and clean. It was a lot of fun. I’ve never won a 50 lap race before so that’s pretty cool. Hats off to Rob and Gary for working their asses off all night and all the fans for sticking out this cold,” said Gee beside his Bluvos/Carlan Services/Pat Beck Motorsports/Strongs Crane Sales and Repair backed machine.

Skylar Gee To Compete Full Time With the All Star Circuit of Champions

INDIANAPOLIS, IN- January 23, 2019- Canada’s Skylar Gee is increasing the horsepower under the hood of his Carlan Services No.99 full time this season. He is set to run the full All Star Circuit of Champions schedule, along with a few selected World of Outlaw events with Marty Breiten turning the wrenches. “We are super excited to run with the All Stars. I personally like the format, and we are looking forward to traveling to all the different tracks,” Gee said on the prospects of joining America’s Series.

2018 saw Skylar competing on the American Sprint Car Series National tour, where he finished 7thin series points. “We had a bit of a slow start to 2018. We kept working hard and picked up a bunch of speed throughout the season, eventually picking up a win in July. We finished off the season with numerous top 5’s but look to take our experiences in 2018 and have a better 2019,” Gee said.

Skylar looks to make the most of his 2019 season and continue to gain knowledge every time he hits the track. He will begin his season campaign with the World of Outlaws in Chico, California. “We are familiar with a few of the California race tracks and figured it would be a good start to the season to get some laps before we start racing with the All Stars,” Gee said.
